Imagine an Easter banquet at God’s house in heaven. He greets you at the gate, opens the door and you see the table laden with the finest of fare, the best of everything – and smiling faces all around. Here in God’s house there are no tears. There is no misery, shame, or loss. Sin is banished and the shroud of death is destroyed. The celebration would never need to end. Joy in God’s house lasts forever!
Today, in God’s house on earth, we begin the celebration that will last into eternity. We celebrate life! Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! This is Easter. Let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation!
