Trinity School’s Inclement Weather Policy
It’s that time of year again! Time to start thinking about… Snow! and Ice! and keeping our Trinity cubs safe during inclement weather!
As a reminder, the following is our policy regarding school closings and delays. This policy has also been posted under the School tab on the site’s main menu/can be found here. There will also be a reminder in the next newsletter.
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran School follows the lead of Marinette school district when it comes to inclement weather. Please make sure you follow Marinette District, not Marinette County if getting your information from local news sources* (see below.)
In addition to local news and radio sources, parents will receive text messages, emails, and can check our school facebook page for closure alerts.
In the event of a delay, school will typically start at 10 AM unless you are alerted otherwise. When the school has a delayed start, Pre-K classes will not convene.
In the event of an early release due to the weather, parents will receive alerts through text, email, and via facebook post.
If you do not receive any of these alerts during our first occasion of inclement weather closure this year, please alert the school secretary or Ms Jessie Kempky ASAP.
Keep warm this winter, Trinity Tigers!
