What does this mean?
We should fear, love and trust in God above all things.

4. Write the Second Commandment. (Include the “What does this mean?”)

You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God
What does this mean?
We should fear and love God that we do not use His name to curse, swear, lie or deceive, or use witchcraft, but call upon God’s name in every trouble, pray, praise and give thanks.

5. What is God’s name?

God’s name is every expression we use to refer to God.

God’s name is everything God has revealed about himself.

God’s name is Lord, God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Almighty, Alpha & Omega, etc.
6. How does God want us to use His name?

a. We use his name to pray, praise, give thanks, teach, and talk about him.

b. 7th & 8th Grades: Passage; 6th Grade: regular answer – Psalm 50:15: Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you and you will honor me.
